For car owners who need your factory stereo removed for replacement or repair, a number of steps to take. The standard DIN size is 2 inches 7 inches and is often found in cars, SUVs and light trucks. 3). Remove the screws and bolts in the corners of the double-DIN head unit with Phillips or bus driver. There are some cars that some special extraction tools you need. For car makes Mazda, Audi, Ford and want to use the tools in the holes in front of the unit. Take the dock good enough for the antenna wire and cable in order to reach the back side of the stereo.
